How does the structure of the federal court system ensure that americans have ample opportunities to seek justice?
ivolga24 [154]
For starters, if you believe that a court has wronged you, you can seek justice from courts of appeal that revise the decision to make sure that it was properly made. If you still think that they've wronged you after that, you can ask for the help of the supreme court which checks whether it was constitutional what they did. There are many steps that you can undertake.

Why did the Roman’s hire foreign mercenaries to serve in the army
In-s [12.5K]
Because many Romans refused to fight in the war Foreign mercenaries also provided Rome with more manpower. The Roman empire was huge and there simply were not enough Italian soldiers to fill the ranks of the legions. In addition, the foreign troops could aid the Roman forces as many of them were expert in certain specialty types of warfare such as bowmen and slingers. hope this helps

In this excerpt, the author writes about a scene in a war hospital. Read the excerpt and then answer the questions:
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

The author's account conforms with the popular image of the war

Explanation:

As the first industrialized war, WW1 was characterized principally by large scale destruction and large numbers of casualties both civilian and military. The author describes repeatedly not only the sheer number of casulities before him, but also the devastation wrought upon the soldiers in question-  devastation caused by the various modern weapons of the 20th century, including heavy artillery and gas.

Justice Bradley of the U.S. Supreme Court wrote this comment. It appears in the case summary for Bradwell v. Illinois, 1872.
Katena32 [7]
I don’t think so. He implies women are only to be wives and mothers, which also implies the old statuses of men working, voting, owning property and women not being allowed to do so. This is not just the Justice’s personal opinion to keep to himself, and he says civil society must be based on the “law of the creator.” Personally, I think his perspective is rubbish
