Which combination of arterial blood gas (ABG) values confirms respiratory acidosis if a male client with Guillain-Barré syndrome

develops respiratory acidosis as a result of reduced alveolar ventilation?
A. pH, 5.0; PaCO2 30 mm Hg
B. pH, 7.40; PaCO2 35 mm Hg

Answer:

D) pH, 7.25; PaCO2 50 mm Hg

Explanation:

For respiratory acidosis confirmation by arterial blood gas values, there should be:

 • pH value less than 7.35 (it indicates the acidosis in body but there may be multiple sources of acidosis).
 • Partial carbon dioxide pressure greater than 45 mmHg (it indicates that the acidosis source is respiratory)

Therefore a person with values (pH, 7.25; PaCO2 50 mm Hg) would express respiratory acidosis.

The value (pH, 5.0; PaCO2 30 mm Hg) indicates the respiratory alkalosis condition.

Plants add carbon to the atmosphere during And remove carbon from the atmosphere during . These proceses from .
sashaice [31]
Plants add carbon to the atmosphere during respiration, and remove carbon through photosynthesis. These are two sides of the same coin – in photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and water, along with energy from the sun, to create glucose. In respiration, plants use oxygen to break down glucose for energy, releasing a byproduct of water and carbon dioxide.

Taken together, these processes form the carbon cycle, and it’s this cycle that’s been thrown into so much danger by human-driven climate change.

Montano1993 [528]

I do not understand why this was deleted, but Reproduction by mitosis duplicates all of the above, because all of these are in the gene being duplicated, the chromosomes, the gene itself, and the DNA.
