Answer:

I would say the ones that have to deal with basic human rights would be near your top rankings because they are the bare necessities that every human deserves to live an average comfortable life

Explanation:

ex- the first ammendment allows everybody to express themselves in a way that they like

another important ammendment

13- abolition of slavery thats self explanatory

19- women have the right to vote

15-african american men could vote

so just put the ones with basic human righte first and the rest is honestly opinoins

In story of "The Life of Christopher Columbus", by Edward Everett, the Columbus's journal would be very different if he had written it only for personal use and not for Ferdinand and Isabella.

Who was Christopher Columbus"?

Christopher Columbus, an Italian explorer and navigator who was born between 25 August and 31 October 1451 and died on May 20, 1506, completed four Spanish-based expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean under the patronage of the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, paving the way for later widespread European exploration and colonization of the Americas. Known European contact with the Caribbean, Central America, and South America began with his travels.

The writings of Colombus display a business perspective on the discovery of the new continent. Colombus wanted to convince the monarchs that his exploratory journeys were useful and merited their money. He therefore wrote data demonstrating the new continent's financial success. If he had produced the papers for personal use instead of for business, they wouldn't have been as relevant to the monarchy and would have been written differently. In this instance, Colombus would provide more somber details and describe the new continent in terms of the wonders and beauties he discovered in regard to both the topography and the local populace.

Which parts of this excerpt from Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel The House of Seven Gables provide direct characterization? Had he b
Katena32 [7]
I believe these parts provide direct characterization: "<span>Endowed with commonsense, as massive and hard as blocks of granite, fastened together by stern rigidity of purpose, as with iron clamps, he followed out his original design, probably without so much as imagining an objection to it."

The writer clearly and directly describes the character's personal features, as well as his internal motivation for an action. It is opposed to indirect characterization, where we can grasp the character's traits or motivation through his/her actions or speech.</span>
