Answer:

B. They were reluctant to be ruled by a central government

Explanation:

The Crown along with the colonies both rejected the Albany plan. The Crown wanted to rule the colonies simply while the colonies wanted to continue to self govern and didn't want to be controlled.

Answer: B. They were reluctant to be ruled by a central government.

Explanation: The Albany plan of Union didn't succeed because the colonies were so afraid of losing power and their autonomy (self government) to the Crown.

Initially, the convention delegates approved the Albany Plan in unison but the legislatures of all seven colonies rejected it.

This rejection arose because it will take away most of their existing powers and limit their control having considered all these, the colonies never submitted the Albany Plan.

The British Crown wanted to rule them but they never wanted the Crown to rule over them and take away their control, they wanted a self government.

ale4655 [162]
I do not think the settlers were justified in expanding west, because the territory was already claimed by the Native Americans. I do understand the promise the promise that was made, but the settlers had no right to try to settle in the west.
