Answer:

The correct answer would be "to prevent or minimize photorespiration and water loss".

There are three types of carbon fixation in photosynthesis namely; C₃, C₄, and CAM.

The C₃ plants are the most common plants which do have any specialization in preventing photorespiration.

The C₄ plants are those in which light and dark reactions are separated in different cells. It prevents photorespiration by separating the RuBIsCO in bundle sheath cells.

The CAM plants prevent photorespiration and minimize water loss by separating the light and dark reactions in different time zones, that is, day and night time

In plants, there are three types of carbon fixation during photosynthesis: C3 – a plant that uses the Calvin Cycle for the initial steps that incorporate CO2 into organic matter, forming a 3-carbon compound as the first stable intermediate. Most broadleaf plants and plants in the temperate zones are C3

What’s the difference eve between atp and adp?
Arturiano [62]

Answer:

d

Explanation:

ATP stands for Adenosine Tri Phosphate, and that third phosphate is bonded to the other two with a very high energy bond, so a lot of energy is released when that bond is broken. When the third phosphate is removed from ATP, you get ADP, which stands for Adenosine Di Phosphate.

If phosphofructokinase experienced a mutation that interfered with substrate binding, then what other enzyme is going to be most
frozen [14]

Answer: Aldolase

Explanation:

In the metabolism of glucose( glycolysis) phosphofructokinase is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversation of fructose-6-phosphate into fructose-1,6-bisphosphate. This in turn is converted to pyruvate after various steps of enzymatic activity in the glycolytic pathway.

If phosphofructokinase experienced a mutation that interfered with substrate binding, the enzyme that is going to be most immediately impacted in terms of accessing substrate is the ALDOLASE.

Aldolase enzymes cleave fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to triose phosphates( glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate) facilitating an increase in anaerobic production of ATP in muscle.

Therefore, the substrate for binding of aldolase, which is fructose-1,6-bisphosphate is lacking due to mutation of phosphofructokinase enzyme.

Explain in detail how to decide the number of replications in a simulation study. Use fixed-sample-size and sequential procedure
erik [133]

Explanation:

Fixed sample size:

In this fixed sample size the data is studied and checked in order to find a relationship. The benefits it is easy to produce, and with it less reliable outcomes can be given.

Sequential procedures:

→Sequential procedures helps while we are collecting the data.

→At an interim analysis, data collection can be stopped whenever the results are convincing enough to conclude an effect is present.

→Or otherwise the more data can be collected, or if needed the study can be terminated whenever it is extremely unlikely the predicted effect will be observed if data collection would be continued.

→In this two or more blocks of different sizes are prepared for testing.

→Pros being it provides better results and is less time taking, as we can stop once the relation is seen, con being it is difficult to perform.
