4m - 17 < 6m + 25     (subtract 4m from each side)

-17 < 6m - 4m + 25

-17 < 2m + 25          (subtract 25 from each side)

-17 - 25 < 2m

-42 < 2m                 (divide 2 from each side)

-42/2 < m

-21 < m


The answer is  <u>m > -21</u>
