Which choice shows the image of quadrilateral WXYZ after a reflection over the y-axis followed by a translation down 2 units?
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

Choices are not provided, but you can answer the question as follows: take the coordinates of quadrilateral WXYZ and apply:

W(xW, yW) -> W'(-xW, yW-2)

X(xX, yX) -> X'(-xX, yX-2)

Y(xY, yY) -> Y'(-xY, yY-2)

Z(xZ, yZ) -> Z'(-xZ, yZ-2)

For example, if point W is located at (1, 1), W' would be located at (-1, -1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Reflection over the y-axis transforms point (x, y) into (-x, y)

Translation down 2 units transforms point (x, y) into (x, y-2)

A cheese maker sold 10 ounces (oz.) of cheese for $2.50. She also sold the same cheese in a greater weight with the same ratio o
tankabanditka [31]
It’s B bc $2.50 divides by 10 is $0.25 and that means you take $0.25 and times it by 18 and get the price

Please help !!!<br> I can’t solve this <br> The teacher doesn’t teach well

So here are 4 rules when it comes to exponents:

  1. When you raise a power to a power, you really just multiply the exponents: (x^m)^n=x^{m*n}
  2. When you multiply 2 exponents of the same base, you add the exponents together: x^m*x^n=x^{m+n}
  3. When you divide 2 exponents of the same base, you subtract the exponents: \frac{x^m}{x^n}=x^{m-n}
  4. To convert a negative exponent into a positive one, flip it to its reciprocal: x^{-m}=\frac{1}{x^m}\\ \frac{1}{x^{-m}}=\frac{x^{m}}{1}=x^m

<u>Part A:</u>

\frac{2x^3y^3}{4y^2}=\frac{1}{2}x^{3-0}y^{3-2}=\frac{1}{2}x^3y

<u>Part B:</u>

(\frac{x^{-8}}{y^{11}})^{-2}=\frac{x^{-8*-2}}{y^{11*-2}}=\frac{x^{16}}{y^{-22}}=\frac{x^{16}y^{22}}{1}=x^{16}y^{22}

<u>Part C:</u>

\frac{(2x^3)(x^4)^2}{8x^{11}}=\frac{(2x^3)(x^{4*2})}{8x^{11}}=\frac{(2x^3)(x^8)}{8x^{11}}=\frac{2x^{3+8}}{8x^{11}}=\frac{2x^{11}}{8x^{11}}=\frac{1}{4}x^{11-11}=\frac{1}{4}x^0=\frac{1}{4}

Your monthly living expenses are $1500 on an income of $1,650 per month. Your goal is to have an emergency fund of 4 times your
DochEvi [55]
Your end goal is to have $6000 total in 12 months. since you have $2400 already you can subtract that from 6000 leaving you with $3600 over the course of 12 months. since you already put $150 in a month over the course of 12 months you would have $1800 which is only half of the goal of $3600. in order for you to put in $3600 you would have to put an additional 150 in your savings along with your regular 150 making the answer b.
