In that song he's talking about how things are in his neighborhood. He's talking about the PTSD like mindset he has because of the division within his own people especially over the amount of people dying unnessicarily , "S*** is scary, how black on black crime legendary." He talks about how the system is rigged for POC to stay oppressed (I.E the 3 offence and you basically get life laws) The rest of the song he tries explaining how the circumstances of the hood lead to people needing to be criminals to survive. He admits theres luxeries to crime too but at the end of the song he mentions he is trying to succeed for all his friends that couldn't because they were either murdered or in jail.
