Answer:

The hydrologic cycle deals with the movement of water.

Explanation:

Hydrologic cycle is also termed as water cycle, it involves the the continuous circulation of water between atmosphere and surface of the Earth.

The water cycle is a process of energy exchange that result in the change of atmospheric temperature.During the evaporation of water energy is consumed from the environment thus cooling the later. On the other hand during the condensation of water energy is liberated thus warming the environment.

Water cycle helps in the cycling of minerals and is also very much essential to maintain life in ecosystem.

IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

The given statement is false because there is no involvement of solar energy during electron transport chain.

Explanation:

Solar energy is utilized in photosynthesis but not in electron transport chain(ETC).During ETC electrons are liberated from the reducing equivalent such as NADH,FADH2.The liberated electron moves from one electron carrier to another until it(electron) reaches the terminal electron acceptor oxygen.

The movement of electrons occur simultaneously with the movement of proton(H+) resulting in the generation of proton motive force(PMF). This proton motive force  helps in the phosphorylation of ADP to form ATP with the reduction of o2 to water.

A galaxy is a gravitationally bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter. The word galaxy is derived from the Greek galaxias, literally "milky", a reference to the Milky Way.

Elliptical: These have a faint, rounded shape, but they're devoid of gas and dust, with no visible bright stars or spiral patterns. ...
Spiral: The Milky Way is one of the larger spiral galaxies. ...
Irregular: These are small, faint galaxies with large clouds of gas and dust, but no spiral arms or bright centers.
