combining low resistance with a high number of repetitions would not optimally enhance your strength hence the statement made is false. to enhance your strength you should combine high resistance with a low number of repetitions when your start and then you can increase the repetitions as your strength improves gradually.
some of the high resistance includes: push ups, sit ups, climbing the stairs, training with waist bands, lifting weights and some other high resistance like cycling. all these will help you build your strength and endurance
