Answer:

The answer is E- All these answers are correct.

Explanation:

The term “Germanic” originated in classical times when groups of tribes living in Lower, Upper, and Greater Germania were referred to using this label by Roman scribes. The generally lived to the north and east of the Gauls. They were a collection of ethnic groups of continental Northern European origin, identified by Roman-era authors as distinct from neighboring Celtic peoples.

Germanic paganism refers to the ethnic religion practiced by the Germanic peoples from the Iron Age until Christianisation during the Middle Ages.

They practiced some spiritual rituals including sacrifice, divination and they believed in a spiritual connection with the natural environment. They also used spells to influence spirits and believed that the gods like Wodan and Thor (known to them as Donar) inhabited the sky.

Please help fast

Why did Northerners disapprove of the Fugitive Slave Act?'
trapecia [35]

Answer: The Fugitive Slave Act required all citizens to assist in the capture of escaped slaves, which the North didn't approve of, as they wanted to end slavery.

Explanation: In many history classes, you'll be taught that the North wanted to free all the slaves and opposed the South's cruel use of slavery, although all states similarly took advantage of those who were slaves.

If the Northern states were to approve of the Fugitive Slave Act, they'd want to support slavery in the South, which wouldn't connect to what you'd be taught in school.

A 200 L of gas contained in a vessel under a pressure of 850 atm. What will be the new volume if the gas is changed to 1000 atm?
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

170 L

Explanation:

Boyles laws states that the pressure exerted by a gas is directly proportional to the volume it occupies provided that the temperature is held constant. Boyles law is given by:

PV = constant

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

Given that the initial volume V₁ = 200 L, initial pressure P₁ = 850 atm, final volume V₂ = 1000 atm and final pressure = P₂.

Applying Boyles law gives:

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

850(200) = 1000(V₂)

V₂ = 170 L
