Jamal has read news reports about the arguments made by either side in the Supreme Court’s 2011 ruling on banning the sale or re

ntal of violent video games to minors and wishes to write a thesis statement. He answers the following question by developing a claim and counterclaim within his paper, pointing out the strengths and limitations of both while supplying evidence for each. Was the decision to refuse to allow the state of California authority over the regulation of the sale or rental of video games a good idea? Respond to the above question by writing both a claim and a counterclaim that point out the strengths and limitations of each side. Provide two details from the readings to support each of your claims.

Claim: While some may think that the rental or sale of violent videos games to minors is inappropriate for they age they are, I think the sale or rental of violent video games should be allowed to minor because it will help minors learn what violent things can happen. Games such as Grand Theft Auto show what happens in real life, and can help minors grow up faster and see whats in the real world.

Counterclaim- While some may say that the sale or rental of violent video games to minors are okay because it helps their brain grow up faster, I believe that renting out or selling violent video games to minors can be inappropriate based on the age of the minor and how violent the video game may be. Games such as Grand Theft Auto can show what the real world might be, but also shows inappropriate things that children should not see as a minor.

Use examples from the lessons and your own personal experiences to compose at least one well-developed paragraph on the followin
melisa1 [442]

The Preamble is the opening articulation to the United States Constitution. The prelude clarifies the reasons why the Framers of the Constitution made our legislature a republic. And with this, the establishing fathers supplanted the Articles of Confederation. Further, the Preamble can be divided into numerous essential phrases. These expressions are imperative for understanding the motivation behind the constitution of the United States.

When we discuss the accompanying expression, “Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity”, the purpose of this in the Preamble and the constitution, in general, is to protect the nation's  rights for freedom, legitimate laws, and opportunities from an oppressive government.

But, if the expressed objective of the Constitution is to protect the Blessings of independence, against whom are those rights being secured? It ought to be self-evident, I trust, that one plan of the Constitution is to shield our Liberties even from our Government. Moreover, if something turns out bad, the central government must amend the Constitution to fit the prosperity of the society and its people.

Answer:

What immortal hand or eye

Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

-To frame here is probably to contain, kind of like putting a picture in a frame. when you frame something, the boundaries are clear and the object isn't going anywhere

- Fearful symmetry" is a very nuanced quality to have. "Fearful" reference the scariness of the tiger, but also alluleds to the sublame. The sublame is an old notion of really big, powerful, mysterious stuff that terrifies us because it's big, powerful and mysterious.

In what distant deeps or skiesBurnt the fire of thine eyes?On what wings dare he aspire? What the hand dare seize the fire

Fire imagery -- both conjures the heat of the furnace in which the tyger was made (God as blacksmith), the fiery colour of the tyger 's eyes, and also hellfire. Another example of a destructive yet beautiful force. Unorthodox image of God as a blacksmith-- a heavy handed workman creation as a brutal process.
