The Rub' al Khali or Empty Quarter is a desert in Saudi Arabia. It is one of the largest sand deserts in the world. It covers an area of about 650,000 square kilometres, more than all of Holland, Belgium and France together. Some of the sand dunes are more than 250 metres high.

Answer:#1

This 250,000-square-mile desert is sometimes called the Empty Quarter. It is the largest area of the Arabian Desert. The Arabian Desert as a whole is around one million square miles in size. The Ar-Rub al-Khali is so large that much of it has been unexplored. The Empty Quarter is famous for its huge sand dunes. Some of them are more than twenty-five miles long. This desert makes up most of southern Saudi Arabia.

ANSWER #2 This desert in northern Saudi Arabia is made up of red sand. It is part of the larger Arabian Desert. It covers around 25,000 miles and is 140 miles across at its widest point. The desert is filled with huge sand dunes that shift according to the winds.

For each of the scenarios, please decide whether there will be an increase or decrease in short-run aggregate supply or if there
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

1) short-run aggregate supply decreases

2) short-run aggregate supply decreases

3) short-run aggregate supply increases

Explanation:

An increase in the cost of employer provided health insurance means that firms are paying more for each unit of labor they employ. This is an increase in nominal wages (even if employees don't see this increase in their paychecks!). The result is that is it more expensive to produce so short-run aggregate supply will decrease or shift to the left. Similarly, the bad weather in the Northwest will reduce the availability of lumber and increase the price, making lumber more expensive at any amount. Because lumber is used extensively as an input into the production function, this too will result in a decrease in short-run aggregate supply.

In comparison, a rise in productivity will result in an increase in short-run aggregate supply. Because of the new technology, it now becomes cheaper for Herbert, and the other farmers like him, to produce at any quantity, and so they increase production. Such a shift occurs over the entire economy and will shift the short-run aggregate supply curve to the right.

Salsk061 [2.6K]

The correct answer is "B".

Population distribution is deeply influenced by the cultural and religious influences among the people in Europe, particularly on the western side of the continent.

Throughout the Cold War, there were many civil wars in nations due to these reasons. Particularly in the region of what was known as Yugoslavia, as the country eventually would separate in what is now known as Serbia and Croatia. The main reason for this separation was the profound religious differences between the citizens of both countries.

Governments offer the parameters for normal conduct for residents, guard them against door interference, and often offer for their well-being and happiness. In the last few centuries, some economists and thinkers have recommended authorities control over some factors of the financial system.

Every kind of government rises to the electricity and rules in a unique way. Research more about every form of government--monarchy, democracy, oligarchy, authoritarianism, and totalitarianism--how they arrive into electricity, and the way they rule.
