I have heard so many women try to deny this dissatisfied voice within themselves because it does not fit the pretty picture of f

emininity that experts have given them.
Which sentence best supports the idea that women’s feelings of extreme dissatisfaction should not be ignored?

1 They had no thought for the “unfeminine problems” of the world outside the home; they wanted the men to make the major decisions.
2 Since the time when they had begun contributing to the workforce in large numbers, women found it difficult to readjust to lives as mere housewives.
3 Perhaps the cause of human suffering has not been found because the right questions have not been asked or debated enough.
4 These women are very “feminine” in the usual sense, and yet they still suffer the problem.

The sentence that best supports the idea is  number 4.Being  "very feminine" means that though  these women look like ladies , talk like ladies and are also proud of being born women, they are dissatisfied and because they are women they are not supposed to express so.They have to be heard because the problem of being dissatisfied , extremely dissatisfied, is a real problem for men .Men might find that it is not feminine to exhibit dissatisfaction .The attitude of the male world would be to deny the voice coming from the ladies and say it is not feminine, consider them out of place and that is why many women have denied themselves the right to speak their minds. The experts that gave women " the pretty picture of femenity" are men and for them it is unconceivable that they should expose a feeling of dissatisfaction.Since they are women and they are feminine they have to be heard.

goldenfox [79]

Answer:

a) resisting temptation.

Explanation:

Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales" is a collection of tales told by the pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. The tales would be told by each pilgrim to and from the pilgrimage place of Canterbury.

"The Wife of Bath's Tale" is also part of that collection. It tells the story of how a knight had to marry an ugly old woman to get himself pardoned from his ra pe charges. Though reluctant to marry such woman, he accepted the offer of the old lady, saved the knight and got married with him. But even then, the knight couldn't accept her. So, she told him that gentility is not passed from generation to generation, nor can it be achieved or bought. Rather, it is got through performing good deeds and living a virtuous way of life.
