In my opinion, yes. Farming allowed the people to stay where they were and build, as opposed to traveling with herds.

9) What technological Advancement led to the success of the Ottomans?*
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

C. Gunpowder

Explanation:

"The Ottomans readily accepted new military technologies such as gunpowder and firearms because they increased the net revenue available to the ruler and reduced the expected value of revolting against him." 4. Did the British act wisely in dealing with the American colonies? How would you have handled the same situation if you were B
Rashid [163]

A British soldier would say that it was unfair because they were not paid a lot of money and they needed other jobs. When the colonists rebel, they lose money in war and they lose all tax money. Also, I don't blame them for some of the complains that were said. I would have done and acted the same way too.

Which colony had successful growth at Albemarle and Charles town and later divided into two colonies
zlopas [31]

Answer:

The sentence that contains subjective information and makes it objective is the following:

B. The thirty-one year-old widow Mary Pickersgill and her daughter, Caroline, moved to the corner house at Albemarle and Queen (now Pratt) streets in the heart of Old Town, Baltimore, Maryland, in 1807. (Paragraph 1).

It is known that subjective information is based on personal criteria and interpretation. In the original example of the sentence, the reader can have his or her own opinion about what the age a "young widow" can be. On the other hand, objective information is based on facts, analysis and reliable data. Thus, if Mary Pickersgill's age is given in the text; there is no place for the reader's personal interpretation.
