Because he didn't wanted new changes to be introduced in this country

Explanation:

  • The final act, signed in June 1815, was inspired by the principles of monarchical law and European balance, and neglected the principle of nationality.
  • Russia has increased in Finland, Bessarabia and much of Poland.
  • Prussia, whose Polish territory had shrunk, received Sweden's Pomerania, a third of Saxony, Westphalia and part of the left bank of the Rhine. Austria renounced the Netherlands and the Swabian dukes, and in turn reclaimed Tyrol, Salzburg, Galicia, the Dalmatian coast and the Venetian-Lombard kingdom.
  • The Dutch Kingdom (the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg) was created and the Piedmont Kingdom annexed Genoa. In the north, Denmark ceded Norway to Sweden. Germany and Italy remained fragmented.

Major events that led to the start of world war 1
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

\begin{gathered}\huge\bold\blue{Major Events:-} \\ \\ \huge \end{gathered}

  • World War I began after the assassination of Austrian archduke Franz Ferdinand by South Slav nationalist Gavrilo Princip on June 28, 1914.
  • Both Russia and France, which had been humiliated in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, feared the rising power of Germany, which had already formed alliances with Austria-Hungary and Italy. So the two nations decided to join forces for mutual protection as well. It was the start of what would become the Allied side, the Triple Entente, in World War I.
  • This legislation, advocated by Germany’s newly-appointed Secretary of the Imperial Navy, Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz, dramatically expanded the size of Germany’s battle fleet. It was the first of five laws dictating a buildup in which the Germans envisioned building a force that was superior to Britain’s Royal Navy.
  • Under an 1878 treaty, Austria-Hungary was governing Bosnia and Herzegovina, even though technically they were still part of the Ottoman Empire. But after Austro-Hungarian government annexed their territory, the move backfired. The two provinces’ mostly Slavic population wanted to have their own country, while Slavs in nearby Serbia had the ambition of appropriating the provinces themselves.

How did Sparta keep their slaves from revolting
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

The number of helots in relation to Spartan citizens varied throughout the history of the Spartan state; according to Herodotus, there were seven helots for each Spartan at the time of the Battle of Plataea in 479 BC. Thus the need to keep helot population in check and prevent rebellion was one of the main concerns of the Spartans. Helots were ritually mistreated, humiliated and even slaughtered: every autumn the Spartans would declare war on the helots so they could be killed by a member of the Crypteia without fear of religious repercussion. Uprisings and attempts to improve the lot of the helots did occur, such as the Conspiracy of Cinadon.
