Answer:

Multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, ... 39, or 3*1, 3*2, ,,,3*13, so there are 13 of them.

Multiples of 4 are 4*1 pto 4*10, or 10 of them

Multiples of both 3 and 4 are 3*4*1 to 3*4*3,

or 12, 24, 36, 3 of them.

Multiples of either 3 or 4 are 3, 4, 6, 8, ..., 40,

13+10-3 = 20 of them.

P(multiple of either 3 or 4) = 20/40 = 0.5

P(multiple of 4 or 5) = (10+8-2)/40 = 16/40 = 0.4

What is the benchmark fraction of 7/10 x 16
Tomtit [17]
Lets change "16" by its to 16/1 .. since nothing can't help support 16 by itself when it is going into 7/10

Now that we change that ... your problem becomes 7/10 × 16/1

7/10 × 16/1 = 11 1/5

Because
7(16) / 10(1) = 112/10
Now lets go. to how we solve the for the answer

112/10 = 11 1/5

Evaluate Ic2 + b2l, given a = 5, b = -3, and c= -2.
LenKa [72]

Answer:

Ic² + b²l = 13 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to evaluate the expression Ic² + b²l with unknowns b and c and having the values of b and c respectively - 3 and - 2.

Now, Ic² + b²l

= I(- 2)² + (- 3)²l {Putting the values of b and c}

= I4 + 9l

= I13l

= 13 units.

Therefore, Ic² + b²l = 13 units. (Answer)

If a(x) = 2x - 4 and b(x) = x + 2, which of the following expressions produces a quadratic function
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplying a(x) and b(x) together results in a quadratic equation (a trinomial).  This trinomial looks like (a·b)(x) = (2)(x - 2)(x + 2).  Note that this is a "special product;"  (2)(x^2 - 4); there is no middle term.
