Explanation:

I agree with Locke's opinion on society and government, because for the philosopher man's freedom is above any system of government or the theory that kings rule by God-given right. For Locke, it is society that has the sovereignty to choose who will be its rulers, because the government must exist to satisfy the social needs of equality, freedom and protection of life, work and human dignity.

Therefore, Locke's liberal ideas are consistent with the democratic-based ideas that we see in many countries, whose rulers are chosen as representatives of their people, to bring improvements to the population of a locality and to preserve natural human rights.
