Hey there, Comet!
With silent films, most of the action is in the expressions and behavior of the characters. If you have ever seen the movie "<em>A Quiet Place</em>", it is a great example of great acting and action (although it is <em>not completely silent</em>, but it still fits in the genre and is a great film).
Suspenseful films are the best kind of silent films. You could do one based on <em>the perspective of a deaf character</em>, and I'm fairly certain it would be great.
If you have any other ideas you want to run by me, I would be happy to help!
I am a director and screenwriter for short films (as a hobby. I am actually a graphic designer) and I would totally be willing to help you out if you needed it! I know a lot of <em>useful information that you could use</em> to make your film great and <u><em>get a good grade</em></u>.
Hope this helps!
Answer: This piece is by German artist Anselm Keifer, and is entitled, Heath of the Brandenburg March. The artist chose to use a mixed media of oil, acrylic, and shellac, which he painted onto burlap. The artist was coming to grips with his country and its past. He wanted to create a piece that was rough and would convey a message of anguish.
