Explanation:

  • Siccar point a rocky point situated near the Berwickshire on the eastern coast of Scotland. Famous for Hutton Unconformity in 1788. This point was the cite of dune and a small hill foot.
  • Being Located at 55°N 2°W of the equator it has a rugged topography with red sandstone. He wrote that later on, these rocks provided the fact to the natural laws and processes that operated in the universe have remained the same and apply to every part on the earth.
  • This point remains the same as it was viewed by Hutton in 1788 as this stunning landscape is framed by steep cliffs and mountain formed in the Calcedonian period were eroded by the river that brought the steams from the subsiding mid valleys.
