Bilingual education has many advantages. It strengthens the executive function of the brain and bilingual students are therefore better at multitasking, decision making and problem solving.

Bilingual students have more opportunities for further education and more possibilities to find better employment. Children with bilingual education are more tolerant and more adoptable because of their exposure to foreign language and culture.

All in all, supporters of bilingual education stress its importance as a tool to better communication and understanding between nations.
