Answer:

B). Mister Toussaint tried the microwave, and even the cleverest squeezy-pouch couldn’t survive a good nuking.

Explanation:

The most adequate way to combine the two given sentence would be 'Mister Toussaint tried the microwave, and even the cleverest squeezy-pouch couldn’t survive a good nuking' as it correctly employs the conjunction to link the two clauses and connotes aptly that the latter action('cleverest squeezy...nuking') was surprising. The other options either jumble up the meaning of the sentence(option A) or grammtically incorrect due to associating with incorrect conjunctions('yet' in option C and 'for' in option D). Thus, option B is the correct answer.

Write a short story. Choose a tourism-related topic. It can be a place, product or festival. (Title) WRITE ON A SHEET OF PAPER.
exis [7]

Answer:

Answer is:

Explanation:

Sam was on his way to the firework festival. Since the announcement of the festival almost a week ago he could hardly wait. There was also a competition in which they had to set fire to fireworks very fast and whichever person finished setting fire to all the fireworks, would win a trophy and 1 whole box of chocolates. As Sam was a boy who loved chocolates, he could not deny this opportunity and decided to participate. Soon the show was about to start. All the participants stood in a neat row beside the fireworks, soon the whistle sounded. Sam burst the crackers as fast as he could and in the end, he actually won! He held up his big box of chocolates and ate one with contentment. He was feeling extremely over the moon, as he had got such a good opportunity and he had utilized it.

Hope this helps....

Have a nice day!!!!
