It is appropriate to break the rule that requires subjects joined by and to use a plural verb when either and neither are subjects. They always take singular verb.

For example :
Either of us is capable of doing the job

hope this helps

How would our world be different today if the invention of the printing press had never occurred?
Maslowich
Our world would be different because without the printing press we would have no books, so school would be different and probably more difficult. Without the printing press we never would have printed bibles so church and any religious studies would be different (and probably more difficult) AND of course we would have no newspapers so there would be less advertising, and nothing to read on Sunday morning.

Which sentence uses an objective case pronoun as an indirect object?
tamaranim1 [39]

Which sentence uses an objective case pronoun as an indirect object?

I sent him an attachment that included photos of the picnic.

The indirect object him identifies to whom the action of the verb sent is performed.

Wrong options:

I e-mailed him yesterday.

(The direct object him is the receiver of action within this sentence: I emailed him).

He wrote back to Bob and I with an answer to our questions.

(I is not an objective case pronoun; it should be "He wrote back to Bob and me...")

So, once again, the answer is the 2nd sentence (I sent him an attachment that included photos of the picnic.)
