The answer is 5 days because....

 you need to find a common multiple for the denominator for 1/8 & 3/4. so 2.
and whatever you do to the bottom you do to the top so 1  3X 2       6
                                                                                         -   -         =  -
                                                                                         8  4 X 2      8

So 6/8 to to 1/8 is 5/8 so it will be 5 days

sorry its confusing i hope it helps

If a wheel with a radius of 80 inches spins at a rate of 50 revolutions per minute, find the approximate linear velocity in mile
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
\bf \textit{arc's length}\\\\
s=rw\qquad
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\
w=\textit{angular speed}
\end{cases}\qquad w=\cfrac{50 rev}{min}\cdot \cfrac{2\pi }{rev}
\\\\\\
w=\cfrac{100\pi }{min}\qquad s=80in\cdot \cfrac{100\pi }{min}\implies s=\cfrac{8000\pi\  in}{min}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\textit{now to convert it to miles/hr}
\\\\\\
\cfrac{8000\pi\ in}{min}\cdot \cfrac{ft}{12in}\cdot \cfrac{mile}{5280ft}\cdot \cfrac{60min}{hr}\implies \cfrac{8000\pi \cdot 60\ in}{12\cdot 5280\ hr}

Mary Anne’s parakeet weighs 240g. Her cat weighs 3.1 kg. What is the difference, in grams, of the weights of her pets?
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

weights of parakeet = 240 g

Weight of cat = 3.1 kg = 3.1 * 1000 = 3100.0 g = 3100 g

difference = 3100 -240 = 2860 g

What is the volume of the cylinder below?
Svetlanka [38]

now, let's recall Cavalieri's Principle, "solids with equal altitudes and cross-sectional areas at each height, have the same volume".

so, even though this cylinder is slanted, it has the same cross-sectional area as a cylinder that's straight-up, whose altitude is h = 5, and radius r = 4.

\bf \textit{volume of a cylinder}\\\\ V=\pi r^2 h~~ \begin{cases} h=5\\ r=4 \end{cases}\implies V=\pi (4)^2(5)\implies V=80\pi

Kenneth Drew a scale drawing of an apartment the scale of the drawing was 2 meters:1 meter the living room is 6 m long in real l
atroni [7]

Answer:

3 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the scale drawing :

2m : 1m

Length of living room in real life = 6 m long

2 meter = 1 meter

Real life = scale drawing

If length = 6 meter long ;

using cross multiplication :

2 meter = 1 meter

6 meter = x

2x = 6

x = 6/2

x = 3 meter

Length of living room in drawing = 3 meters
