Answer:

The statement is true.

Explanation:

Historical criticism is one of the types of criticism. In this type of criticism, any ancient text is taken into consideration and it read according to the period in which it has been written. It also focuses on the reconstruction of the events of the past. A historical text gives an overview of the things happened during that period.  The research on the origin of the past, its significance and the events happened in the past belong to this type of criticism.

Mrac [35]
Well one thing that Abraham Lincoln embodied was unity. In his speech "A House Divided" it was all about being united, and if we were split up as a nation, or even within our own families we wouldn't be able to stand. The nation (or family) would fall apart because unless we are working together, things can't go correctly.

Identify and explain at least one inner conflict encountered by Huck in chapters 14-16. Use at least 50 words and include a spec

Hello. You did not submit the text to which this question refers. This makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, when searching for your question on the internet, I can understand that you are referring to the book "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," because I found a question exactly like yours that showed that this was the text the question referred to. If that's the case for you, I hope the answer below will help you.

Answer and Explanation:

One internal conflict that Huck presents between chapters 14-16 is his hesitation to hand over Jim, a runaway slave, to a farmer. This doubt becomes a conflict because Huck is a southern boy and was taught that blacks must be enslaved and runaway slaves must be handed over to their owners, because that is right. However the more he lives with Jim, Huck has doubts if this thought is correct, as Jim is a very nice person and will suffer a lot if he is delivered. Huck begins to understand that slaves are tortured and exploited, but this thought conflicts with thoughts he has received throughout his life that a runaway slave is dangerous.

This is an example of internal conflict, as we can see that there is a fight between two of Huck's thoughts, that is, there is a conflict within Huck going on in his head.

"The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" is a book written by Mark Twain. In this book we are introduced to Huck, a southern boy who decides to live as a vagabond destitute, wandering aimlessly and surviving what he receives from strangers. Huck gets involved in many adventures, makes friends and learns a lot about life and humanity.
