Equation to find what % 12 is of 95.

12 = x(95)

12=95x  12 divided by 95 = 0.1263.. etc. = (estimated) 12.63 % thats how much it decreased.

Just divide then subtract

95/83= 1.14= move decimal to right one time so it would be 11.4 then subtract 11.4 from 95= 95-11.4= about $83.55
