Answer:

As a result of her actions, Anne Hutchinson suffered a trial and banishment from Massachusetts.

Explanation:

Anne Hutchinson was an English preacher and Puritan religious leader. She emigrated with her husband and children from England to the Massachusetts Bay colony in 1634, and established herself as a midwife in Boston. She hosted religious Bible studies in her home. At first these were only for women, but soon they were also proved by men, and Anne Hutchinson informally became a religious authority in the colony. She came into conflict with the Puritan Church when she accused her priesthood of preaching work before grace. The conflict led to her being tried and expelled from the colony in 1637; in a subsequent trial in 1638 she was also formally excluded from the congregation. She and her followers then founded the Colony of Portsmouth. In 1641, she was forced to leave Portsmouth to avoid New England authorities, and moved to the Dutch colony of New York. She was killed during a Native American assault.
