Catabolism is the breakdown of large compounds into smaller ones. Catabolic processes release energy, which the cells can use to fuel other cellular reactions. The breakdown of glycogen, TG, proteins and large molecules into their components pieces are catabolic processes.
Surfaces to be sanitized should be free of cracks, pits or crevices, which can harbor or protect microorganisms. Surfaces should be "in good repair." Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed to remove any soap residue before sanitizing.
