leva [86]

Answer:

land surfaces heat and cool more rapidly than water surfaces because of the high specific heat of water.

Explanation:

 • The change is due to the fact that the land surface as compared to the water surface absorbs more amount of heat and can easily release the same amount of heat at much faster rate.
 • While the oceans of the seas have specific heat or water has a heat-retaining capacity like the latent heat it is sensible heat.
 • Thus when coming to Columbus in winters the temperature is colder than the coastal city of Atlanta NJ as the effect of the land and the sea breezes and also temperature extremes are known to be found in the interiors of the continents.

Igneous rocks are formed as magma solidifies on the earth surface.

The process that might have formed this rock is:

A. melting underground, violent volcanic eruption, and solidification above ground

Igneous Rocks

Igneous rocks are known to be rocks that are formed when the magma melts underground and rises up to the earth surface via volcanic eruptions.

When they rise to the earth surface, they cool and solidify. This process will then result to the production of crystals.

Intrusive and extrusive rocks are formed in this process.

Dmitry [639]

Answer:

0^\circ C

Explanation:

Dry adiabatic lapse rate is defined as:

\Gamma = 9.8 ^\circ C/km

The air rises 3000 m, that is 3 km.

If it cools 9.8 ^\circ C each km its temperature drops approximately 30 ^\circ C. From 30 to 0.
