Answer:

It changes the angle.

Explanation:

Seasonality affects the angle of the sun above the horizon by making it higher in the summer and lower in the winter.

The tilt of the Earth is responsible for the seasons and for the angle at which the solar rays make contact with any given point on the globe during a certain season.

In summer, the Sun is closer to the overhead position, while in winter the Sun is lower on the horizon.

I think that it would still just be an island. A peninsula is a landform surrounded by water that extends outward from the land. Imagine a green rectangle sticking out from the green oval you pictured. That rectangle would represent the peninsula. Therefore, dividing the island in half would not create any peninsulas. Hope this helps :)

Answer:

Read the paragraph about social media.

Social media outlets are often criticized as forums for unimportant postings and uniformed rants. Though much of what is posted is conversational drivel, social media outlets also serve as springboards for entrepreneurs. Creative people can advertise their designs or products at a low cost to a wider market than entrepreneurs could have imagined in previous generations. The Internet is the ultimate free marketplace, allowing motivated individuals to share their wares with the world.

What is the controlling idea?

Every entrepreneur should advertise one’s products on the Internet.

The Internet has countless forums on which people share meaningless posts.

Social media has a valid purpose as an inexpensive, creative marketplace.

Advertising products on the Internet is inexpensive compared to television.
