Answer:

Test 2 has larger degrees of freedom than Test 1.

Explanation:

When conducting a T test, the degrees of freedom are calculated by the formula n-1 where n is sample size. Here, Test 2 is said to have a larger sample size than Test 1 and degrees of freedom are associated with the sample size hence, Test 2 has larger degrees of freedom than Test 1.

____________refers to the phenomenon in which the presence of other people makes it less likely that any individual will help so
Roman55 [17]

The answer is "Diffusion of responsibility".

Diffusion of responsibility is a sociopsychological phenomenon whereby a man is less inclined to make obligation regarding move or inaction when others are available. Thought about a type of attribution, the individual accept that others either are in charge of making a move or have officially done as such. Diffusion of responsibility happens when individuals who need to settle on a choice sit tight for another person to act. The more individuals included, the more probable it is that every individual will do nothing, trusting another person from the gathering will likely react.

wich statement describes the standr of living for the average russian since the fall of the soviet union
antoniya [11.8K]

After having relative prosperity during the second half of the 20th century until the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Citizens from Russia experimented relative economic hardship during the rest of the 90s. The government led by Boris Yeltsin was not successful in the transition of the economic model from socialism to open market capitalism.

Then came Vladimir Putin at the beginning of the 21st century. Under his regime, the Russian economy experimented a sustained growth due to the rising prices of oil. Industries like production, construction, real estate, and financial services all grew.

As a consequence of the improvement of the economy, the middle class grew as well as their income. GDP per capita (the amount of money the average Russian gains over a year) sharply rose since the beginning of Putin's regime and is barely reaching $12000 in 2017.

However,  the country still fails to score positively in regarding corruption levels and freedom of speech. As the government is constantly accused of suppressing political opposition.

This leads to describing the standard of living of the average Russian citizen as constantly improving in economic terms, but still lacking the guarantee of security and freedom of speech.

Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

Because if his basic needs are not fulfilled he can't focus on learning and he does not have the motivation to do so.

Explanation:

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs states that in order for an individual to succeed, he/she has to have their needs satisfied.

This is best represented by his Pyramid of Needs; in order for an individual to pass to the next stage, he/she has to have the basic needs fulfilled.

In this case, since the child comes to school hungry and without a coat, it can be deduced that his physiological needs (water, food, clothing) are not met, thus he cannot go on to the next stages in order to pass the grade.

Suppose the U.S. government increased its spending on infrastructure and paid for this increased spending with a tax on consumpt
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer: Economic growth will be negatively affected as there will be a decline in the demand for goods and services.

Explanation:

Economic growth is the increase in the output of goods and services in the economy. A consumption tax on goods consumed would lead to an increase in price which in turn, leads to a fall in the real income of comsumers.

The fall in real income of consumers will lead to reduction in the demand of goods which will also lead to the reduction in the GDP of a country.
