Geography

Wave height is affected by wind speed, wind duration (or how long the wind blows), and fetch, which is the distance over water that the wind blows in a single direction. If wind speed is slow, only small waves result, regardless of wind duration or fetch.

Ten thousand years ago, what might have happened to civilizations in parts
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

They would not transform from hunter-gatherers to farmers.

Explanation:

Ten thousand years ago was the period in which the last Ice Age ended. The living conditions improved in general across the globe, and this was used by the people in many parts of the world and they experienced rapid developments. Other people groups though didn't really move on and continued to have the same lifestyle, just in a better environment.

One major reason for this has been the lack of animals that can be domesticated and thus highly useful for the people. It can easily be noticed that in the areas where there were numerous species of animals suitable for domestication and were highly useful, the people were progressing, engaged in farming, and started to have a sedentary lifestyle. On the other hand, in the areas where such animals were lacking, the majority of the people groups remained hunter-gatherers until much later in history.

¿A qué se llama "efecto invernadero"?
Iteru [2.4K]
