Mood is a key feature in literature since it allows the reader to feel identified with the characters and the story. "To Build a Fire" by Jack London is the story of a man who despite of the bad weather conditions decides to make a journey. The mood and atmosphere is conveyed in this play by means of repetitive imagery.
