If the border with Laos had been closed and North Vietnam had not been able to operate in the country, the communist side would not have been able to stock up on resources, men, ammunition, weapons, food and medicine through the HoChi Minh Trail.
Therefore, the forces of the North that were fighting in South Vietnam would have been out of supply, and their defeat would have been imminent.
The most likely reason the agricultural revolution caused a population increase was because “more and better food allowed people to be healthy and well fed”. When agricultural revolution took place it led to the increase in usage of pesticides fertilizer and other things. This led to the decrease in price of rice. Which led to the less death chances of people and leads to population increases.
The US believed in isolation, if another country attacked the US that is the only way that we would get involved, therefore we tried to stay out of the mass killings and havoc that the Germans and Japanese were creating until we felt that it involved the US. The US did not want to pick a side and have to stay loyal to that side and go to war when that country did because of the alliance. The US finally joined in to help the allied powers to supply them with weapons/military troops. They did not enter the war until December 1941.
