When diagramming compound sentences, you have to create lines separating the subject, verb and object. Then you have to create broken lines downward: that is for the conjunction. Then you will do the same, separate the subject verb and object and so on. It will be like this:

Sarah | loved | sound   -  identify all the other modifiers and group them below. Then create broken lines downward for the conjunction "and" then do the same.
