Answer:

The psychoanalyst Erik Erikson in his theory of psychosocial development, mentions eight stages of development ranging from childhood to adulthood, one of these stages is Industry vs. inferiority.

The industry vs. inferiority stage is observed between the ages of 5 to 13 years, where children have changes in their maturity, they begin to recognize their abilities but also by comparing themselves with their peers, the children will motivate them to the challenging tasks, they also expect social recognition for their achievements.

In this stage, if the children do not manage to meet their challenges as they would like, feelings of inferiority appear, which is important to work on to properly develop each psychosocial stage.

Example:

1. The child will be more active in their classes to demonstrate their skills in this way receiving praise from their teacher.

<em>Determining factor: Social recognition </em>

2. The child will try to do each job in the best way, to demonstrate his skills, if the child fails to do the job, he may feel inferior and cause a crisis that hinders his self-concept.

<em>Determining factor: Self-esteem.</em>

Vilka [71]

Answer and explanation:

Normative ethics is a branch of ethics that reflects on what is morally right and what is wrong. It is through that reflection that principles for human behavior are established.

  • <em>"Normative ethics, that part of moral philosophy, or ethics, concerned with criteria of what is morally right and wrong". (Quoted from Britannica, link is the following: https://www.britannica.com/topic/normative-ethics)</em>

In the other hand, metha-ethics is a branch of ethics that studies metaphysical concepts regarding morality and with special emphasis if these moral values are independent of humans.

  • <em>"Metaethics is a branch of analytic philosophy that explores the status, foundations, and scope of moral values, properties, and words". (Quoted from Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, link is the following: https://www.iep.utm.edu/metaethi/) </em>

The main difference between these two branches of philosophy/ethics is that normative ethics main focus is the morality on a certain action, whereas metaethics focus is morality itself.
