Answer: The room that's most likely being described is "la cocina".

Explanation:<u> </u><u>"La cocina" can be translated as "the kitchen"</u>. This is the room that is being described in the excerpt provided as <u>the writer is saying that there is a refrigerator and a dishwasher.</u> Moreover,<u> it also says that a person can cook and eat in that room.</u> In that way, the excerpt could not be describing a bedroom ("dormitorio") nor a bathroom ("baño"). The living room ("sala de entrada") and the terrace ("la terraza") are also very different from what the excerpt is describing. Therefore, the room that's most likely being described is the kitchen ("la cocina").

why the way one theory explains a phenomenon might not be the same with the way another theory do it?

\huge\boxed{\fcolorbox{cyan}{purple}{❥ Answer}}

A phenomenon (plural, phenomena) is a general result that has been observed reliably in systematic empirical research. In essence, it is an established answer to a research question. Some phenomena we have encountered in this book are that expressive writing improves health, women do not talk more than men, and cell phone usage impairs driving ability. Some others are that dissociative identity disorder (formerly called multiple personality disorder) increased greatly in prevalence during the late 20th century, people perform better on easy tasks when they are being watched by others (and worse on difficult tasks), and people recall items presented at the beginning and end of a list better than items presented in the middle.
