Well think about it. Back in the mid 1800's, a great example is Abigail Adams, whom was married to the ex-president, John Adams. Throughout Abigail's entire life she faced discrimination because of the social canons that spurred around women throughout that time. Women were seen as less, and weren't given much of an opportunity to have a good education, high authority in unions, and always had low societal roles in society. Throughout that time many if not all women faced issues. Women were greatly discriminated.

Why was California's entry into the Union delayed?
masha68 [24]

Answers:

1.) California's entry to the Union was delayed because sadly, the California constitution actually banned slavery and this caused a crisis in Congress.

2.) So, to actually apply for statehood, the Californians first had to write and then approve their constitution. After it has been approved, the people had to elect a governor and also state legislators. California was officially admitted as a state in September 1850.

3.) California wouldn't be diverse at all. It wont be unique as it it right now. there would be no other people from other countries that actually want to go there. Also, if it would not have actually very quickly.

4.) Brigham young one of the leaders of the Mormons. He had over 50 wives! No, They went to the west to Salt Lake City so they could escape religious discrimination.

Mark as brainliest please, I need a few more :)
