Technically, the ironic twist ending is a surprise, but most readers have a sense of what’s going to happen long before it does.

At what point in the story did you realize that Mary was going to have the evidence destroyed/consumed? It’s okay to paraphrase the part of the story in your answer, but be sure to explain what it was about this section that raised your suspicion. (Lamb to the Slaughter story)

Answer:

I realized she was going to destroy evidence when she offered the food to the detectives.

Explanation:

This section raised my suspicion because she used the leg of the lamb as a weapon to kill her husband, and then cooked it and gave it to the detectives to eat.

Tasya [4]

Answer:

I would talk to my friend and try to come to an agreement so that he or she would pay half the repairs the sofa would need.

Explanation:

Although animals are unpredictable and my friend is not to blame for the damage his cat did to my sofa, the cat is my friend's responsibility, just as it was my responsibility to look at what the cat was doing and prevent him from destroying anything .

As we cannot charge the cat to pay for the damages it caused, the best option would be to enter into an agreement with my friend and ask him to pay half the repair that his cat caused.

Who do you like more, Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer. Write 50 word why. *
ohaa [14]
That’s tough because I like both. I would say Huck Finn because he had to learn to live in society without anybody’s guidance. His way went against the normal right or wrong ways of society. If he had some guidance, the story would be different.
