What's the inverse of a 2x4 matrix?
balandron [24]
Mxn Matrices do not have an inverse solution for m ≠ n, so your 2x4 will not have a solution.

Generally, inverting matrices is done through finding the determinant of the square matrix and then performing an operation on the matrix based on the size of the matrix.

Wikipedia has a good article on Matrix inversion, take a look there for more information.

Is there any tricks to memorize the special right triangle's sides?
noname [10]
Sohcahtoa
My algebra teacher got us all to remember that word because...
Soh - Sin = Opposite / Hypotenus
Cah - Cos = Adjacent / Hypotenus
Toa - Tan = Opposite / Adjacent
Sin, Cos, and Tan are what you can use to find missing triangle sides if you know at least one other angle besides the 90 degree angle.

Find the radius of the circle whose equation is x^2 + y^2 = 4.
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

Radius of the given circle is r = 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation of the circle is x^2 + y^2 = 4.

Now we need to find the radius of the given circle x^2 + y^2 = 4.

To find that let's compare with the formula of the circle with is x^2 + y^2 = r^2, where r is the radius.

We get r^2 = 4

take square root of both sides.

r=2

Hence radius of the given circle is r = 2.
