Hello,

On April 21, 1898, the United States declared war against Spain. ... The reasons for war were many, but there were two immediate ones: America's support the ongoing struggle by Cubans and Filipinos against Spanish rule, and the mysterious explosion of the battleship U.S.S. Maine in Havana Harbor.

Hope this helps!!!! :)

Explain the role played by consumers , business and government in a market economy
scZoUnD [109]
Good Morning!

In a market society, also known as "capitalism," the roles are very clear. Consumers have the role of effecting the consumption of products or services, thus acting as a thermometer for the market since it is from the tastes and options of the population that the market must be guided. The market, then, is the one that meets the demand and produces in order to raise customers and realize sales. The government is a manager, but should not interfere much with the functioning of the market. The government must manage and prevent unfair competition, harness currency strength and international competition.

13. How did Ming Emperors attempt to improve the safety of the northern parts of the Empire?
Phantasy [73]

Answer:

Ming Emperors attempt to improve the safety of the northern parts of the Empire by restoring parts of the Great Wall of China.

Option: (A)

Explanation:

 • The Ming Empire that ruled between the "fourteenth and the seventeenth century" had come to power after defeating the Huns in the north.
 • The reason that the Mings succeeded in keeping their empire away from the hands of their enemies was that they took great measures to protect the frontiers of their empire.
 • One such measure was of using a tremendous amount of building material to build the "northern part" of the "Great Wall of China" to be able to defend the Mongols on the other side.
