The author manages to show us inequality between the two ethnic groups by having acts of violence happening to black men. Not only that, though, since the author manages to use dialogue between the two races in a way that we are made aware of verbal belittling. As an example, we have:

<em>"Where we goin', George?"</em>

<em>The little man j**ked down the brim of his hat and scowled over at Lennie. </em>

<em>"So you forgot that awready, did you? I gotta tell you again, do I? Jesus Christ, you're a crazy bas***d"</em>

By utilizing such language and disparaging tones, the text further demonstrates the writer's message on the unjustifiable prejudice that is taking place in the story being told.

I will give some guidance on how to go about this:

*Mention Steinbeck's background with workers. He often advocated for the poor and for farm workers.
*Give examples of the unfairness of life. George talks about this extensively in the first chapter
*Talk about the lack of aid for the mentally ill. Lennie is one mentally unstable character who never receives proper diagnosis or medical attention. I believe this is also mentioned in Chapter 1, about how Lennie had been kicked in the head

Anne frank details and figurative language
olganol [36]
I'm afraid my answer got deleted. I was trying to show you that the words "wildly" and "in all directions" are figurative as they exaggerate the scene.

Why would someone write the details in least to most important order?
Aleks04 [339]
So that the most important details are read last and therefore are remembered the best, leaving a lasting impression on the reader.

Analyze the stanza from Lewis Carroll's \"You Are Old, Father William\" poem and determine which metrical foot did Carroll use .
alexandr402 [8]
The correct answer is c) anapestic

That is because each line consists of feet that have two unaccented syllables and one accented one, which makes it an anapest.
