I THINK IT WILL PROBABLY BE 2:6 BECAAUSE ALL TOGEHTER THERE ARE 6 MARBLES AND SIX DIVIDED BY 3 IS 2

4+3+3 = 10 total marbles

4 are green so 4/10, reduced to 2/5 of picking a green one first.

 without replacing it, there would be 9 marbles and 3 green ( assuming he picked a green one first)

 so 3/9 reduced to 1/3 that the 2nd one would be green

2/5 x 1/3 = 2/15 probability of picking 2 green marbles

Write a linear equation that represents the arithmetic sequence 10,8,6,4
Aloiza [94]

Consider the arithmetic sequence as given:

10, 8, 6, 4

We have to determine the linear equation which represents the given arithmetic sequence.

Since, the nth term of the arithmetic sequence is given by the formula as:

a_n = a+(n-1)d

So, substituting the values of 'a' and 'd' in the given formula, we get

a_n = 10+(n-1)(-2)

a_n = 10-2n+2

a_n = 12-2n

So, the linear equation which represents the given arithmetic sequence is a_n = 12-2n.
