1. This quote signifies the fact that life can be difficult, but none of these difficulties can really stop those who are striding forward in their lives. The dangers and dissapointments of life can only stop us momentarily. When we feel defeated in life, we can understand that that defeat will pass, and that we still have what is important, which is our lives.

2. This is the most important thing about life, because without this basic fact, we would not know that we can still carry on in our lives. By being able to go on in our lives when we feel down, we can find optimism in the most negative of scenarios. This optimistic view of life is viewed by the narrator of this quote to be "the most important thing."

3. I can summarize life in less than seven words. "Life is beautiful, and life is good."
