According to the Narrator, the person appears to be a woman, who creeps about the borders. It is one of the characteristics that highlight’s the narrators mental spiral from being trapped in the room.
The Yellow Wallpaper is a story about a woman that is suffering depression after giving birth to her first child, as her husband diagnoses her with hysteris she is sent to a rural house to calm her nerves and he forbbids her to write or express her feelings, she starts to deteriorate quickly and soon she is only confined to a bed in a room with a yellow wallpaper where she starts to see a woman that is trapped behind the wallpaper.
Third person limited is when the narrator knows only the thoughts and feelings of the main character and third person omniscient is when the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all the characters
