Answer: x=9.5

Step-by-step explanation:

hypotenuse/leg=hypotenuse/leg

13/x=x/7

x*x=13*7

x^2=91

x=sqrt 91

x=9.5

Hope this helps, have a BLESSED and wonderful day! :-)

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram is composed of one large right triangle and inside it it's divided into 2 small right triangles. Since these triangles all have the same shape but not the same size, they are similar triangles. Using similar triangles, create a proportion of side lengths. A proportion is an equation with equal ratios from the large triangle to a small. Notice the large triangle has a hypotenuse of 6+7 = 13 and a leg of x. The small triangle has a hypotenuse of x and a leg of 7.

\frac{hypotenuse}{leg}=\frac{hypotenuse}{leg}

\frac{13}{x}=\frac{x}{7}

To solve for x, cross multiply the numerator with the denominator.

x*x = 13*7\\x^2 = 91\\x=\sqrt{91} \\x=9.5

How many ways can you choose 4 cookies from a cookie jar containing 25 cookies of all the same type?
andre [41]

Answer:

Only one.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that there are 25 cookie of the same type in a cookie jar.

We have to select 4 cookies from these 25.

Since they are all the same type, they are identical.

The question is

How many ways can you choose 4 cookies from a cookie jar containing 25 cookies of all the same type?

There is no difference if we take any four cookies from these 25.

Hence no of different ways = 1

Only one is the answer.

Anyone know how to do this find the slope? Will give brainliest.
Molodets [167]
Explanation: In my notes you’ll see the formula for how to find slope under “Formulas”.

How to use this formula: In the first graph you have points (2,3) and (6,8)
So y2 would be 8, and y1 would be 3.
x2 would be 6, and x1 would be 2.

1. Sub points into formula
2. subtract y2 by y1
3. Subtract x2 by x1
4. Divide top by bottom

And you’ve got your slope! (Rise/run)

If you need further clarification, feel free to ask me in the comments. Hope this helps :)
