Answer:

The prince is his close relative and unlikely to punish him with death.

Explanation:

The scene of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare opens with a quarrel between Tybalt, a Capulet and Mercutio, a very good friend of Romeo Montague and also a relative of the Prince. The two families of Capulet and Montague had been at loggerheads for a long time.

Later, in Act 3 scene i, we find Mercutio and Tybalt fighting, eventually killing Mercutio. The Prince had given the decree in Act I scene i of no public duels which was emphasized again by Romeo in Act 3 scene i when he tried to break up their fight. But he knows that since he is a relative of the Prince, he might be saved from the decree. So, Mercutio wasn't afraid to fight Tybalt when the latter abused Romeo.

"I think the very first amendment is the most important my opinion. To start off, the first amendment protects religious and political freedom, with the rights to speech, assembly, press, and religion. These rights protects and preserves our democracy. If we did not had these varieties of freedom, we would not be able to worship in the ways we please, which is one of the many reasons the colonists came to America in the first place. People should have a right to tell how they feel or talk about what they has doubts or concerns in without feeling threatened with punishments or jail for disagreeing with government or someone else. This amendment is preserved and protecting by the freedom of speech, but it limits the right if the speech threatens public safety in any way. For example, you yell "Fire!" in a crowded building because it would cause the people in the building to panic and trample over people which can lead to them being seriously injured or even killed.
