Answer:

(2) Thermoluminescent dosimeter

Explanation:

Entrance Skin Dose (ESD) is the measurement of radiation dose absorbed by the patient . ESD directly estimates the quantity of radiation dose of the patient by using the Thermoluminescent dosimeter. It is also known as the entrance surface dose. Body habitus contributes to an increase in the dose of Entrance Skin Dose (ESD). The estimated quantity radiation dose measured by the Thermoluminescent dosimeter can be calculated by Monte Carlo simulations upon several examinations of X-ray.

How does a scientist compare the age of a rock with other rocks
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

They can use radioactive dating

Explanation:

To establish the age of a rock or a fossil, researchers use some type of clock to determine the date it was formed. Geologists commonly use radiometric dating methods, based on the natural radioactive decay of certain elements such as potassium and carbon, as reliable clocks to date ancient events.

Hope this helps :)

As you look at the general trends of the graph, what happens to the biodiversity when a mass extinction happens? Why?
spin [16.1K]

Explanation:

As lineages invade different niches and become isolated from one another, they split, regenerating some of the diversity that was wiped out by the mass extinction. The upshot of all these processes is that mass extinctions tend to be followed by periods of rapid diversification and adaptive radiation.
