The US explained that the economic policies of trade is not about political dominance. It was a strategy to attract other nations not to turn to communism. But in a way, it is a strategy of indirect economic hold and control of other economies. Trading policies can actually be manipulated by a powerful country that has the means to compete. Unlike, European Imperialism which directly rules economy and politics of nations.

Now the start of the war:

began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder catapulted into a war across Europe
