How was marxism looked upon by society

History

svlad2 [7]3 years ago

Answer:

It has it supporter and it has its criticism.

Explanation:

For marxism to be implemented, people need to increase government control in the economy. The ownership of private property will be either eliminated or extremely limited and all resources will be handled by the government. So rather than competing in free market competition, society as a collective will decide what people can and can do in the economy and the distribution of resources will be controlled by the government.

Supporters of Marxism argue that this will eliminate income disparity and social class in society. It is true , to a certain extend. Since the government is dividing the resources, almost no people will receive more than the others.

Critics of marxism argued that this will make government becomes too powerful and provide no incentive for the people work. If people are not rewarded with the ability to own private property,  we will not attract enough people to fill jobs with high difficulties and requirements.
